The son of a most highly regarded and respected PGA teaching professional, Stephen has been around the professional golf atmosphere all of his 40 years. Stephen turned pro in 1990 and before becoming the Director of Instruction at Conte's Palm-Aire Golf Academy he spent 9 years at St. Andrews Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida where he was a well received teaching professional.
What makes Stephen unique and separates him from other teaching professionals is his in-depth knowledge and understanding of the golf swing along with his confidence and ability to communicate effectively to every level of player. Stephen has also proved to be an accomplished player with many tournament successes.
It is through his lifelong involvement and dedication to the game and his devotion to constant and never ending improvement that has earned him a reputation as being one the most experienced and sought after teachers in South Florida.

Terry is from Houlton, Maine. With over 25 years of teaching experience, Terry has been a PGA member since 1989. During this time, he has earned the Maine PGA "Teacher of the Year " Award in 1999 and 2002, as well as the "Junior Golf Leader" Award in 1998. His knowledgable instruction and enthusiasm for bringing out the greatness in his students comes across in every lesson. He has worked with all ages and skill levels over his golf teaching career from beginners to tour players.

Tom Holt

Tom comes to us with 20 years of experience in the field of instruction. He is a PGA member and has certifications in everything from golf psycology to bio-mechanics. Some of his teaching venues have been Boca Raton Hotel &Club and Ballymeade C.C. on Cape Cod where he was director of Instruction for 10 years. We are delighted to have Tom as part of our staff . He is a true gentleman who shows a genuine interest in each students improvement.

Bill Plotkin

Bill, like all of our instructors, has a passion for teaching the game of golf. His active involvment in the South Florida PGA Southern Chapter is just one of the many ways he continues to grow as a PGA Golf Professional. He was awarded "Apprentice of The Year" in 2006 and 2008 as well as the recipient of the 2009 "Horton Smith Award" for his active involvement in the Southern Chapter education programs. Bill's enthusiasm and love for his profession comes through with all his students of all levels and abilities. Bill lives in Coral Springs Florida with his wife and they have 3 children.

Lanie Cahill

Lanie is from Brocville, Ontario. She was the teaching professional at Brockville Country Club from 2003-2009. She played on the Canadian Women's Tour and the Duramed Futures Tour. She was the winner of the CPGA Infiniti/Rolex Women's Canadian Championship as well as a contestant in the 1995 U.S. Womans Open. Lanie loves teaching and has a wonderful way of making all students feel comfortable and relaxed. She has worked with men, women, and juniors of all levels and stresses the importance of solid fundamentals . Her students appreciate her clear and easy to understand instruction on all areas of the game.
